How Much is Your Childs Future Worth?

There are other factors to consider outside of tuition when preparing for college. You first need to consider the expenses leading up to your student(s) completing college applications. For example, there is standardized testing (SAT/ACT) that colleges require as a part of their application process. Many students take standardized testing more than once and need additional preparation which can include study materials, tutors, or personalized study sessions. Traveling to tour colleges can also come as a family expense if your student(s) are looking at schools outside of a day trip. Colleges also charge fees for applications, supplemental applications, and additional financial aid paperwork.

When your student is accepted to college additional expenses can also include:

    • room and board
    • dining plans
    • university fees
    • books and course required materials
    • travel
    • laundry
